Mom & Dad Europe trip - (Actually, the topic should be => Without Mom & Dad for 15 teary days)

This blog will not say anything about my parent's trip but my ability to handle the situations alone during the trip days ;)

On Sep 15, 2018, My Mom and Dad started their Europe trip by 5 am in the morning and I became the Lady in charge of my house.

Since my kids were having the quarterly exams, I requested leave for 10 days. And my gracious supervisor had granted the same (God bless him). I let out a word that I will work on the GSDs from home (Loose lips sinks ships, isn't it?).

Once my parents left, I became the polite, well behaved, responsible, lady of the home. I neatly swept the room, mopped, washed the dishes and the home was a heaven on the first day.  Kids went to music class, read for some time and then we three watched some movie and a show.. though it was a pleasant day as night started, I started to worry.  I was the only elder in the whole building itself.. Oops.. I am even scared of my own SHADOW & now I have to handle 15 such nights..

Next day, I washed all the vessels and neatly arranged everything.. The house was so neat and I dint feel like cleaning it again. We had food, had a chat, fought and watched a movie and went to sleep.. Again started the dreadful night and I was finding it very difficult to sleep.. I was even scared to come to the hall. Ooops 14 more nights.

Next day, my kids started to the school and I was able to get some time for myself.  I started with my office work.  Oops some 35 tickets in queue.. When I was half done with the tickets, it was 12 pm and mm rang the calling bell.. Ooops I forgot my break fast.. gave him some snacks and started with cooking. Thus my time was running in front of me to handle all the tasks which were thrown at me.. We are in 3rd floor without lift facility, so I had to go down for water, vegetables, groceries and everything else too.

Next day, my dearest friends G and S came to my home for a chit chat. It was good to have them with me. We talked for a very long time and I made chapathis, paneer gravy, sambhar and rice for lunch. Prepared Mysore Pak but it was a mess.  But I packed and gave them to finish it off ;)

Next day, my dear sissy came home to give me company along with her tiny T.  I was calling her daily to say, that I am not sleeping, since it was scary alone. Our home become bright again with people around.  My bro too came to check on me.  I am a person who is always surrounded by people and especially without MOM/DAD, naan romba paavam..

Various next days came and I was handling things with difficulty.  Those are manageable situations but I dint come across for a long long time. My mom, sure is an angel..

I had to attend the calls, open the door for the visitors, attend my dad's customers, listen to the complaints from our tenants, collect rent, water the plant, clean the house, cook food, wash/dry the clothes, Sweep the stairs, Mop the floor, Wash the dish, shop for vegetables and other essential items.  I had to run with my night gown to attend the fire accident that happened due to short circuit (Kashtakaalam/Distress situation) I was going out of breathe. Most importantly make my kids learn for their Quarterly exams(My God). Previously I was talking too much on the home maintenance. I was blabbering to mom that i will turn the home upside down to make it look neat and tidy(Big mouth comedian I am). Though I found some time for myself, it was not enough for me.  I started thinking about MM which was worse.  As days passed, I became rude, uncivilised, reckless and a mere monster as seen by my kids(during the study time).. The GSD tickets, which I agreed to take care haunted me. I dint like the me.. I was scared to the core. I wanted my mom/dad to return soon and to save me from the damage I was causing myself..

On September 30th around 4 pm, my parents returned from their trip.. Wow what a blissful moment. I was the happiest person in the world on that day. I can sleep without any fear the whole night. My parents were happy and they enjoyed the trip. All of us are @ peace now..

Though those were the difficult days for me, I was able to manage it. It gave me time to think about the reality.  I think I should list them here and remember it through my life.

My Understanding during the 15 days.

1. My Parents = My Confidence
2. Raising a child is not easy.
3. There is more in life than work.
4. When you are not there, people will replace you at office.
5. Money cannot buy many things
6. Days are longer when you wait for someone whom you love.
7. Nothing is really lost until moms can't find it. (it is for me too ;))

And talking about other achievements during the 15 days

1. Watched few movies without any disturbance not even advertisements
2. Found time to talk with myself and with my kids(Sub chaltha hey)
3. Lost few pounds. (Later gained the same within a few weeks due to the Swizz chocolates ;))

My Sep 2018 is exciting isn't it??

Just Another day in my life, but when I talk about my boys, it is a special day...

Time flew very fast.  My mighty Mowgli is in 5th Standard and my naughty Nemo is in 2nd Standard.  God bless them. Have put both of them in a tuition as I am reaching home very late now-a-days.  I personally do not like to put the kids in tuition. But without me at home, my kids spend most of their time in TV/Mobile and other games ruining their eyes and mood. Last month my Sissy found a good teacher and both my boys are going there to learn their portions after school.  Other than that Mowgli is taking Piano lessons while Nemo is busy with his Guitar classes.  Life definitely is very sweet with my boys.

Bro is getting married.

Today early morning 4 AM, I was sleeping and my mobile rang.  It was my brother. He walked out few months ago from our house. He was calling me to open the door. I told him to call my mom as I was in my in-laws place. how could I sleep after that call???  He is in love with a girl and is getting married today. He is trying very hard to invite us all to his wedding.. But my mom and dad are so stubborn that they don't even want us to attend the marriage. They are still living in their ages. All I could do was to bless him whole heartedly.  My FIL and MIL attended his marriage and showed me few pics from his marriage. Hope everything goes well for him in the coming days.

Video chat with SIL:
Today being Vinayaga Chathurthi, we went to my in-laws  place a day before and spent the whole day there.  After a very long time, did a video chat with my Sister-in-law in California.  She was so excited to see my Mowgli and Nemo tall and all grown.. She asked Mowgli to stand near me and my MIL to check on his height. Mowgli was too eager to talk with her and was blabbering whatever was coming in his mouth.  Mostly he was showing all his teeth to her and her little ones.  She has a boy (an year younger to Nemo) and a gal an year old(Angel she is..). She was saying that she will visit India next year.   The Video chat went on nicely.

Hectic life:
Coming to my official life, it is going very hectic. Have taken reports as a career change.  My god, we are being squeezed to the core. I have taken a day off tmr to attend my personal chores. When I go on Wednesday, I will be bombarded with tasks.  Let me face them on Wednesday ;)...

Will come back soon..

My everyday

5.00 A.M Alarm Buzz
5.15 to 6.00 Pranayama(Breathing exercise)
6.05 to 6.50 Gym
6.55 Water therapy
7.00  Morning chores starts Cooking, Feeding, Dressing up my Mowgli to school
8.25 MM takes Mowgli to school.
8.30-11.45 Feeding, Bathing, Playing with my Nemo, India Calls, Cleaning house, Washing clothes
Nemo used to sleep by 10.30 A.M now-a-days he does not sleep at all.. On Tuesdays he got his Mother Goose program in Library at this time. I go for shopping either on Mondays or Fridays at this time.
11.30 Tea time
11.45 Picking-up my Mowgli.
12.15 Feeding the kids again, Reading books, Playing, Chit chating blah blah...
1.00 Lunch time for me.
2.30-4.30 Kids goes for their nap..
While they sleep, Mail checking, Dhyanam, Farmville, Chatting with friends, Library routines, Blogging and again a Tea.. Now-a-days even Mowgli rarely sleeps.. If he doesn't, that is a real big problem for Nemo to sleep.. He will bang this or that and wake up Nemo. And  Mowgli has his Ice-skating classes on Wednesdays and Swimming classes on Thursdays. So those two days are busy days for me..
4.30-6.00 Kids wake up.. snacks for them, small walk or cycling..
6.30-7.00 Cooking, Dish washing, Grinding blah blah...
7.30 Dinner time.
8.30 Milk for the kids.
9.00 Story/book for the kids
9.30 kids goes to sleep.
This is the perfect routine, I always love.   But mostly my Nemo wont let me go to Gym, by being awake all through the night or exactly by 5 AM .. I think he has an alarm in his body... or Mowgli wakes up exactly by 5.30 AM for his pee-pee and bangs the bathroom door & wakes up Nemo..
I really really wonder, how women work along with their household chores. Some days I will have lots of time to chat with friends and relatives. Some days I will be running here and there with lots of work & that is exactly when I will get call from people saying I am not calling them:-(
I always feel bad about me not working. But the interesting part is that being at home gives me lot of time to spend with my little ones. Let me enjoy the innocence of my kids, as I may not get them as they grow older. At present, I really love being a mom..

Mowgli likes Little Einsteins(Cartoon).   It comes in handy many a times for me like this...

Mowgli: How did I pop out of your tummy amma?
Amma: Doctors dissected my tummy and got you out da kanna..
Mowgli: How did I got in Amma?
Amma: Hey shall we watch "Little Einstein"?

It is just the beginning,  he is just 4 year old.

Comedian of our home

Mowgli is really a comedian now-a-days..
Last week I put him to sleep and was washing dishes and he came running to me
Mowgli: Amma, I was trying to sleep, but my nose is not working. What should I do?
He had cold..

We went for shopping and as it is winter here, sometimes we shed tear due to cold wind.
Amma:  Do you know, why you are shedding tear?
Mowgli:  Becaaauuuse I drank a lot of water..
He looked so innocent when he said that.  Hats off for his imagination..

Yesterday he got up from his nap and got some tiny dust particle in his eye. It was so irritating for him. he started crying. I told him to close his eye for a while and washed his eye with cold water, but it was still irritating for him.  I asked him to lay down for a while, he started crying saying, "My eye broke, while I was sleeping"..

A few days before, he woke up from his nap, Instead of rushing to the bathroom, he went straight to kitchen, opened the shelf and peed in the trash can. I caught him and he said, "Mommy, we got a new bathroom and a new potty".. He was still sleeping.
Kids at this stage are soo interesting to be with.   Thank God, that I have enough time to spend/enjoy with them. God bless them to have a bright and interesting future..

Happy new year and Happy pongal too!

Lets start  this new year with some good happenings in my life.

1. My sister gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Lot of company for my kids..
2. We have bought a new SLR - Nikon D7000 ( A photographer is on her way) It is too heavy(It should be at least 3 lbs) and I am so scared to handle it, while my kids are around. Operating it is another big task, I am squeezing my tiny brain to take every shot.  Sometimes, I just click using the auto option...(So simple it is)
3. I have enrolled in our apartment Gym. It was a long procedure. When I went last year, they told that I can enroll during the calendar year. I went last week and the lady in charge asked me to sign some legal documents so that I cannot sue them if I fall down from the treadmill.  While I was about to sign the document, she asked me whether I am the unit owner, which I am not. They need my house owner's signature for their official record. That was silly. I dont know how they can stop me from suing them with my landlord's signature.
4. Started some water therapy too(Dear S along with you)
5. Ice skating is going fine and its really fun, especially seeing my little Mowgli skating.
6. I had a hair cut.  How come this be a good news? But it is for MM. He always like short and straight hair. And I had 4 feet long hair.  Now my hair is just less than a feet long and it saves 30 mins of my time daily.
7. As always,  I am enjoying my time with my kids.

Some not so good things are also happening in my life
My dieting is going terribly wrong. As usual I cannot resist Starbucks Mocha with Starbucks ice cream in it. I will control my craving all through the week & during the weekend I will make Gulab Jamoons or Coconut cake or Kesari or Carrot halwa and will add up some 2000 to 3000 calories:-(  If  I dont make any eatables our dear friends are gifting things like sonpapdi or chocolates.. I used to do Jogging, but now it is sooooooo cold and lot of snow here.  But I am very sure, I will reduce my weight before Spring.  Otherwise most of my tops wont fit. hi hi...

p.s.  The above picture is the Amaryllis bulb plant which bloomed last year(during last new year). This year, I am still waiting for this plant to bloom, but it shows no progress. The plant looks healthy lets see.

Kolu 2010

When I was a kid, our family lived near a shopping area.  To be exact, we lived in Pondy Bazaar in Chennai. I used to watch people buy things, window shop, roam and enjoy in that area.  Whenever there is a festival, the area would be filled with people, shopping for things. As all kids, I too loved festivals.  My parents used to celebrate all the festival except this Kolu(which is very colorful and attractive for kids).   I used to put a chair in the Balcony and watch the dolls arranged neatly in the shops. My friends, used to invite me for the kolu. I loved to visit them. A few times, I had even asked my parents to celebrate Kolu at home.  But they had other great things to do. That was past.
When my atai came last year, she brought some dolls with her. She celebrated it last year(I mean virathams, slogams, songs, sutha bhatham). And the tradition continues this year by mee ;-).  I did everything virathams, slogams, songs, sutha bhathams and even neivethyams.  I wanted to tell stories about the gods and goddesses but I found very hard to squeeze time for that. Harder than that was managing Kolu with 2 toddlers.  My nemo used to take all the third row things.  Thank God they dint break. And one day he put his finger into the burning camphor and cried all the night along with me. Ooops that was another story. MM was soo happy as he got some or other different dish to enjoy daily. It was fun. Two weeks flew like a few minutes..
We invited all our friends. I even invited few americans. Our neighbor who is a very old lady(she is 83, a lovely woman, I should write a full page post about her) came and asked about all the dolls. She even invited her daughter and grand kids visit the kolu. I was very happy when they all came. I felt like I was in India.
Hope I continue this next year too.

More Dialogues (orey comedy ponga)

Our house is so cold, so we always wear slippers at home, yesterday, mm got up from his nap. He came running to me asking for his slippers.
Mowgli : Where are my slippers amma?
Me : They are below the cot kanna..
Mowgli : Below the cot?
Me : Hm..
Mowgli : Oh under the cot, got it amma!
Ennoda mukka kakka thookitu ooodddi pochi.
He is just 3 1/2yr old now..

Last week I prepared tomato rice and it dint taste like tomato at all.
mm was watching some cartoon.
Me to MM : It dont taste like tomato rice isn't it?
MM to Me : eppavum pola eruku, dont worry (his way of giving bulb)
Me to Mowgli : Amma eppo da samaika kathuka poren(when I am going to learn cooking??)
Mowgli to Me : Why are you asking me, ask daddy..(and continues with the cartoon)
(En kita ethuku kekura, vun purushan kita kelu nnu solluran)

He talks a lot now-a-days... Very interesting and especially funny.. Enjoying life with my kids..(Touch wood)

My Mowgli has grown a lot while Nemo is growing

After a very long time(approximately after one year), I took mm to library today. I think he forgot all about his visits to library in this long gap. Before getting inside the library I told him to be silent all the time, inside the library. He was amazed and excited seeing all the books neatly arranged in the shelves. First we went to kids dvd section. I let him select some dvds for him to watch. He selected lots of Thomas dvds and a few fairy tale dvds. I suggested him a few, but he refused.(3 yrs ku ethu too much da) Then he started to go thru some books. I was really happy thinking that he loves to read book and took my eyes off from him. I was browsing thru some book, suddenly came the question, (There was a tank in which, they had kept an African frog)

mm: Amma, look,what is that?
Me: It is a frog, Kanna.
mm: What is it doing?
Me: Its sleeping.
mm: Why is it sleeping in top of the water?(Actually it was floating in the water)
Me: It likes to sleep there kanna.
mm: Why not in the bottom amma?
Me: ? (Seriously I dont know)
mm: What is that?
Me: It is called the oxygenator. It gives oxygen to the frog
mm: We need stop that.
Me: Why kanna?
mm: It is hurting the frog. (the bubble was hitting the frog)
Me: It wont hurt him kanna, it is just a bubble.
mm: No amma, it is hurting him, see.

I was forced to drag him to other shelf, saying there are books about train. Though he came with me, his mind was revolving around the frog tank. He selected some music cds and books and started saying "lets buy this amma" and I started explaining how a library works. Time just flew. We checked out the items we took and started home. While coming out he even said bye to Mr. African frog quietly. (he sure remember things). I used to long for him to talk. Now, I dont have answers for many of his questions. But sure I am enjoying his enthusiasm to know.

Poor Nemo was at home with his dad. Though we have lot of baby food at home and lots of diaper, he was hungry waiting for his mom, with soiled diaper. Oops. No one can replace a mom. Nothing much to say about nm, right now. It will take some more time for him to perform his "LEELAIs".

New branch in our tree...

We were blessed with a baby boy on Saturday 8th of August. Let me call him nm. I was expecting a c-section, as I had a c-section with my first baby. Thank God, I had a normal delivery and the baby is fine. The entire process was like walking in hell, finally reached heaven...Now I understood, in spite of all the pain why people prefer normal delivery.

I missed mm very much when I was in hospital and was crying. When MM brought mm to the hospital, I was relaxed a bit. mm was excited and started playing peek-a-boo with nm. It was lovely seeing them like that.

mm liked his brother and he missed both me and his father while we were in hospital. But I know he will manage without us. I was very worried about his possessiveness. But he ruled out that concept (touch wood) I am very proud of him, how easily he took another boy in his mom's lap in which he played all his life. He will wait patiently untill I am done with nm then he will come to my lap for my hugs. It is I who will break when he sleeps near me waiting. It really feels awful when I cannot give myself to one while handling the other one.

nm is soooo sweet. He dint trouble me while birth, comparing to mm. He weighed just 3 kgs. He was very cute just like mm and was yellow and tiny. He was very small even mm looked like a body builder, when compared(mm is very small when compared to other kids of his age). Nothing much to say about nm as all he does is drinking milk and sleeping. - again, again and again.

I was all tired and dizzy and crampy all the time. Took lots of pain killer. Lot of mood swing, stress, pressure, hunger. Every odd feeling ruled me and I directed everything towards MM. And he, like a Grandpa was advising me with a pat on shoulder. oops that is another story..

At last I gave birth to another kid too. And my new branch in our tree is pleasantly growing.

Vunnai mudhalil kanda andha thirunaal

This is how a patikattu girl from chennai, met a pattikattan from Madurai.

I was wide awake, but inside the bed sheet in my bed. People started coming and my mother was nagging me to get up and take bath. I dint want to get up or see anyone coming or get married to some unknown fellow. I just wanted to be like all my friend happily doing their studies and enjoying life. I was crying.. My mom reported to my dad. I was very scared. If my dad says a single word, I will die for him. hmm. He came and asked what my problem was. I told him, that I don't want to be married. He said, "People will come and see you and you will be married to that boy, if only you like him and want to marry him and no one will disturb you or your studies before/after the marriage". Hmm. I got up, took bath, dressed in a nice cotton Saree. All the grandmas started to complain to my dad.. Hmm Again I changed to a nice silk Saree and lots of jewels, flowers etc...

Suddenly a crowd of people invaded our home... Some 25-30 members.. Ooops we were living in a single bedroom flat and we already had relatives at our home.... My sister was standing in the bathroom and my parents/brother outside our home and me with lots of strangers. Lots of women, girls, kids around me and I was blinking, searching for my mom.. Everyone was looking at me, they even introduced themselves to me and started to chat. My small brain was filled with their names and their relation to me.. I was struggling for breath while someone asked me to go and sit in the hall. The hall was already filled with lots and lot of people. I was thinking like, on whom, shall I sit ;-) They finally created some space for a chair and made me sit in it. They asked me to see the boy. I was irritated but could not show off anything. There was three guys sitting in front of me. Ooops I cant marry three guys.. Two of them had fair complexion. Myself being a black beauty, the third would be the guy for me. He was looking at me curiously.. Hmm, so he is going to be the guy, I have to know, understand, love, marry, share, adjust and live with all through my life. He looked decent and friendly. He suddenly got up and went outside. And again everyone started to talk with me and I was stammering for words, to answer.

My appa came and asked me, whether I would like to talk with the boy, as he wants to talk with me. I could see a "say ok" type of face in my dad. I said ok. Our bedroom was cleared and his two sisters were with us and he started to talk with me.. I still remember Everything... It was like the first ray of sun, warm and pleasant. I was very much impressed. Hmm.. 30 minutes before I was against a marriage and now I cant afford to loose such a guy.

I was asked for my opinion by my father-in-law. I blinked for a second and said that I want to be married a year later. They said, "whatever u wish for". (later I regretted for asking such a short term)

And MM gave me some Chocolates and asked for my mail id and other ways of communication channels and took some snaps and started to chat with me like I am his friends. I was thinking like, Is this really happening???
My parents gave sweets and snacks to everyone and everyone was happy.

An hour flew like a second. The whole bunch of people started to leave, as MM had to leave for his office. They all said bye and started to leave and this guy MM, was standing sending everyone into the car and was waiting for me.. Is it the love, which made me feel that he is waiting outside to say bye to me. I went outside and said bye to him. Everyone started to laugh at both of us.. Ooops embarrassing, Who cares, I waved to myman.... The day started like a mess and went on heavenly..

Now those two pattikadus are leading their life with two(one on the way) kids in US.. Hmm sounds interesting...

Our kids will have fun telling this story to their friends.

Today is the day, I met u my love... This seven years went like seven beautiful minutes, with a kid playing and a kid kicking.. Though we face ups and downs(lots of downs, u stupid), when I say, hey seven yrs acchu da vunna parthu, it feels like seventh heaven my dear..

Missing you Amma!!!

I never thought, that I will miss you this much. I am longing for your care, love, affection, presence, food and everything of you. Every second I think about you. "If you were with me" is the prefix for all the sentences I think. While having mm, you were always there for me. I was very comfortable and I never realized your precious presence. I feel lonely now. MM and atai and mama are there to take care of me. but they are nowhere near you Amma... Who will talk/spend time with a silly pregnant women up to 2 A.M in the morning other than you... How badly I treated you, due to my pain/mood swing/etc and how patient you were taking care of me all those days. How bliss it was, when you were with me... (nizhalin arumai veyilil theriyum)
I miss you, miss you very badly Amma.

Happy Marriage Anniversary Amma and Appa..

Our Marriage Anniversary

One fine morning we called up our guys in India. They didn't sound great. Their horrified voice told us that Indian are being killed in US . I got up saying "What???" This was the nightmare I got today morning. The time was 4.35A.M and I dint sleep after that.
I am having sleepless nights and even if I sleep, nightmares are haunting me. Frequent mood swings are there. I don't have a reason to cry. Still I cry. I am always tired and want to sleep. I could not take proper care of mm. I really feel guilty about that. All my frustrations turn towards both my guys. (rendum romba paavam) I always think about my mom. I miss her a lot. If she were with me, half of my pregnancy symptoms would be relieved.
Today is our 6th marriage anniversary and i got up with such an unpleasant dream. But thank god, my mood changed after I got up from my bed. MM took work at home(heavenly, isn't it?), as I had a Doctor visit. We nicely spent our day at home along with my in-laws. Evening, our Friends gave us a surprise visit and we had a nice time, having food, chatting.
I was worried when i got up in the morning but the day went on pleasantly and I am happy now...

My dear husband forgot my birthday. "Arrr...Six yrs achi. enimey ethellam expect panna kudathu" this was what, i was thinking, while my dear friend J called up to wish me. As i was taking bath, he picked the call and came running to me, saying blah, blah.... What next, A simple outing and fine dinner in a Thai restaurant.
But one thing is sure, it was funny to see his sad face, apologizing, blah, blahing, the same face, i saw before 7 yrs among the crowd of people. Did i say, that we were married for six yrs, Its like yesterday for me now ;-)

Guess what?

Yesterday we went to take our 5th month scan and again it is a BOY.. My second star is on his way to shine on us. So funny my dream came true. My mom and grandma had a bet on the gender of the baby. Ooops my mom lost and had to give away 1000 bucks to my grandma. Poor mummy!. We had selected a few girl names(for the second time) Now we have 4 months to search a baby boy's name.(last time we had only 15 days to select a boy's name) My FIL started saying that in our horoscope, it is said that we will have 3 kids. Lets see what God has written for us.

Yaavarum Nalam

While i was in India, after my sis's marriage,
After a very long time, we had a getogether of family members and we went to this movie. There was a lunch at my sister's in-laws place. There my sis and her husband planned for this movie. My family members started to home(along with mm) and we started to the theater. Most of the youngsters in our family were present, leaving all the old people back to chat at home. We were really excited and were in time to movie. When the movie started, i was shocked. It is a horror movie. Aiyayooo. (Naan oru bhayanthangolly) I was comfortably hiding my face behind MM, when my mobile rang. My mom called up and said that the house keys are with me. Ooops... All my excitement went off. We were 30 mins away from our home. And it will at least take 1 hr to drop the key at home. hmm. I told my brother... he started and in a while called back and asked for parking ticket, as the bike was parked. Ooops. Again my cousin brother went to give him the parking ticket. He came back after some 10 min.

All due to my silly mistake. It was me, who locked and was keeping the keys. Some 20 members were standing outside for 40 min, due to me.
My brother came back after 1 hr. He told that the movie seemed greek and latin to him. I was telling him the story, during the songs and in interval. Still, he lost the real pleasure of watching the movie continuously.

But the whole movie plan was memorable. As we, the next generation in our family started to roam around the city without the elders in a group. I still remember the days, when my mom, chithis and mamas and atais leaving, all of us at home, when we were kids and going to movies and shopping.

Simple memories to treasure....

Tooo Personal !!!!

Today i got up early, credits goes to mm. I was irritated, annoyed or what not.( for the past few days, this has become his habit to wake me up early in the morning. I mean 4 or 5 o clock in the morning. Gave mm some milk. Finished my morning chores. MM was fast asleep. I dint want to disturb him. I switched on the TV for mm. As we had, story time in the library I went to take bath. I was brushing my teeth, and someone opened the door suddenly and said "BAAAAH". I was scared to death... It was none other than my hubby Mr.MM... I went out of my sense and was totally mad. I slapped him across the face and told him, "How many times i told you, not to scare me"... OOOppps.. Poor MM, his face went dark...

MM scare me everyday, in spite of my mood, environment, even when I was pregnant. Sometimes, I give him 'time outs' as punishment and some other times I used to yell at him and sometimes I used to laugh.. Today reflex took over and I slapped him..

Hmm.. I like him playing with me but I am very sensitive and i could not take this kind of shocks. Poor MM, it would have hurted him, both physically and mentally...

I love you my dear..... I did not mean to hurt you, somehow it came out of me involuntarily.

Celtic knot..

mm is 20 months old.
I am really happy being a mother.
I enjoy every minute being a mother.
I prefer changing diaper than coding.
If i were before 3 or 4 generation before i would have given birth to lots and lots of kids. Thank god!!!
Why all this creamy thoughts?? I really mean them..

Today i was really tired, my hip ached a lot. MM had to assemble some ipod adaptor in the car. So he went out. me and mm was left alone. mm wanted to play, as i was not feeling well, i played some cartoon in the tv and was sitting with him. My condition worsened (then how r u blogging?? will explain that) and i lay on mm's lap. Yes, i lay on my son's lap. He looked at me and patted my face and started to watch the cartoon. Wow the whole experience was amazing.

This is a kural by thiruvalluvar. which means, 'touch of our kids delights our body and their speech delights our ears'. It is a fact. I got relieved from my aches slowly.. I feel better or ever i am fine now after being in my son's small lap for a little while..
